Management Team

Our dedicated management team is second to none in the valley. We benefit from their presence on-site. During the winter, they maintain bundles of firewood and use village vehicles to plow our roads daily if needed. During the summer, they support our renters and visitors, keeping our pool and hot tub in top condition.

They also oversee our self-sufficient water supply. With two wells on our property we feed a 210,000 gallon water tank to serves our village. We also manage an on-site waste water treatment plant. Both serve to minimize our risks - to water supply, to increasing water rates, and to the impact of wildfires. These two projects were financed through loans that are repaid with association dues.
Ptarmigans
Dear Ptarmigan Flock:  As our time at Ptarmigan Village winds down, we wanted to say thank you for letting us be part of this amazing community. It's been a pleasure serving the Village, solving problems, putting out the occasional fire (sometimes literally, usually figuratively), and getting to know so many wonderful people along the way.

We'll be helping the new manager with the transition and hope they come to love Ptarmigan Village as much as we have. We also hope they quickly learn that in this job, no two days are ever the same—and that's part of the fun!

Thank you for your support, patience, friendship, and all the conversations we've shared over the years. We wish you, the Board, and the entire Village nothing but the best moving forward. Take care, enjoy the mountains, and please try not to break anything until the new manager gets settled in. Warmly, Wes & Corey

Dear Wes:  You brought tremendous insight and upgrades to Ptarmigan Village. First, you revolutionized the rentals program. Then you helped to bring our insurance premiums down. Thanks for your calm demeaner and open heart.

Dear Corey:  You thought you were going to help Wes for a few weeks. Six years later you've helped Ptarmigan Village increase property values and improve community harmony.

We are so grateful for the time you have dedicated to Ptarmigan Village. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
POA BOD
Patricia Martinez manages the day-to-day operations of the rental program. She has shown unlimited patience in dealing with our guests, our owners, and the board. She is calm, cool and collected - even when things aren't going according to plan. She remembers our regular guests, and in the age of AI, provides that valuable human touch. We're thankful for her spirit.

Jenni Cheff manages the daily financial operations of Ptarmigan Village, ensuring accurate records, compliance, and transparency. While only in the office part-time, she manages to track dues/assessments, process vendor payments, reconcile bank statements, maintain the general ledger, and prepare financial reports for the board - all while being pleasant and personable. We're thrilled to have her here to safeguard association funds.

In her free time, you can find her chasing the sun on her boat on the lake or with her husband and three kids cheering on the Montana State Bobcats, MT Tech Orediggers, Gonzaga Bulldogs and Columbia Falls Wildcats.
